Dr. Chana R. Adelman is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist. Dr. Adelman obtained her doctorate degree from the University of Houston and completed her doctoral internship at the prestigious Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Kennedy Krieger Institute, where she treated children with a variety of disorders. Dr. Adelman completed her post-doctoral fellowship with the Developmental Assessment Team at the Katy Independent School District, where she specialized in conducting evaluations on children suspected of having an autism spectrum disorder. In addition, Dr. Adelman has years of experience working with children and adults in the school, hospital, and clinic settings.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Adelman is an assistant professor at Mercy College, where she teaches and trains students in the graduate program in school psychology. Dr. Adelman has published her research, presents at conferences, and regularly serves as an invited guest lecturer at a variety of venues.
